Care & Usage Information
- For grilling, we recommend using oils with a high smoke point such as sunflower or groundnut oil
- The grill functions optimally after it has been used once or twice, allowing the oil to 'season' the plate.
- The grill can be cleaned simply by oiling it and scraping off residue with a spatula.
- Products should be unpacked immediately on delivery to avoid moisture retention in packaging, which can cause stains which are difficult to remove.
- Must be placed on a flat, stable surface to avoid strain and potential damage.
- Corten steel may cause rust run-off while weathering.
- Not recommended for coastal environments (within 2km of the sea).
- Use Owatrol to seal the rust and prevent flaking if desired.
- Hose down with clean tap water annually to remove surface dirt.
